Who needs a compact lift?
- 1
A villa with limited floor-to-floor space
Some villas have no dedicated shaft, and a compact lift takes the stairwell or an unused corner without touching the rest of the home's layout.
- 2
A family member who uses a wheelchair
The cabin can be sized to allow a wheelchair to enter and turn inside it, and the right dimensions are set after a precise survey of the space.
- 3
An existing home being retrofitted with a lift
Fitting a lift into a built home means working within what exists without knocking down walls or redesigning, which is exactly what a compact lift is built for.
Choose what fits your need

We design the lift around the available space during construction so no structural changes are needed later.

What sets this area apart
Al Wurud and its neighbouring areas feature modern villas with compact layouts and dense residential blocks where wall-to-wall space is tight. A compact lift here is practical necessity rather than luxury, enabling residents, elderly occupants and those with limited mobility to move safely between floors. New villa designs in this district often leave narrow corners and stairwells where a compact unit fits far better than a full-size model.
Al Wurud lies in west Riyadh, a newly built district mixing residential villas with medium-rise apartment blocks.
Villas in Al Wurud typically span four or five floors, with very limited space for a lift in the stairwell or corner.

Questions about Compact lifts
Can a compact lift fit a wheelchair?
It depends on the dimensions available at your site. Some locations allow a cabin big enough for a wheelchair to enter and turn, others allow straight-in access without turning. The site survey is what determines exactly what is possible.
Do I need a pit dug beneath the lift?
Many compact lift installations need a shallow pit, but some configurations work without a full pit. What suits your home is determined after the site survey and assessment of the floor structure and number of levels.
Can it be fitted in a home that was not designed for a lift?
Yes, and this is the most common use for compact lifts. We study the existing structure and find the best location with the least alteration to the building, and every site is different from the next.
Where does Lift Barq operate?
We cover every district of Riyadh and also Al Muzahimiyah, Al Kharj, Ar Rayn and Huraymila. If you are in any of these areas, contact us and we will book a site visit at the earliest available time.
Can the cabin and doors be customised to match the home's interior?
Yes, there are options for cabin finish, interior wall colours and door design. What is available depends on the dimensions confirmed during the site survey, after which the technician presents the choices that suit your specific space.
Can your compact lift fit into our villa without dismantling the stairs?
Yes, the design allows installation in a stairwell or tight corner. Our initial survey determines the exact options based on your villa's layout.
How many people can your compact lift carry?
The unit is designed for one or two people, or one person with a wheelchair. Capacity depends on your home's exact dimensions, which we confirm on the first visit.
