Who needs a compact lift?
- 1
A villa with limited floor-to-floor space
Some villas have no dedicated shaft, and a compact lift takes the stairwell or an unused corner without touching the rest of the home's layout.
- 2
A family member who uses a wheelchair
The cabin can be sized to allow a wheelchair to enter and turn inside it, and the right dimensions are set after a precise survey of the space.
- 3
An existing home being retrofitted with a lift
Fitting a lift into a built home means working within what exists without knocking down walls or redesigning, which is exactly what a compact lift is built for.
Choose what fits your need

What sets this area apart
Al Jalil comprises newer villas built at higher density than Al Hadar, many spanning four or five floors within limited footprint. Interior staircases occupy significant living space, so a compact lift frees that area and eases movement between levels. Installation in these villas demands precise measurement and planning since each has a different design, and Lift Barq begins with a full site survey before installation starts.
Al Jalil in Al Kharj is an area of newer villas set closely together on smaller plots than the city's outskirts.
Villas in Al Jalil typically span four or five closely stacked floors, with very limited space around the building's exterior.

Questions about Compact lifts
Can a compact lift fit a wheelchair?
It depends on the dimensions available at your site. Some locations allow a cabin big enough for a wheelchair to enter and turn, others allow straight-in access without turning. The site survey is what determines exactly what is possible.
Do I need a pit dug beneath the lift?
Many compact lift installations need a shallow pit, but some configurations work without a full pit. What suits your home is determined after the site survey and assessment of the floor structure and number of levels.
Can it be fitted in a home that was not designed for a lift?
Yes, and this is the most common use for compact lifts. We study the existing structure and find the best location with the least alteration to the building, and every site is different from the next.
Where does Lift Barq operate?
We cover every district of Riyadh and also Al Muzahimiyah, Al Kharj, Ar Rayn and Huraymila. If you are in any of these areas, contact us and we will book a site visit at the earliest available time.
Can the cabin and doors be customised to match the home's interior?
Yes, there are options for cabin finish, interior wall colours and door design. What is available depends on the dimensions confirmed during the site survey, after which the technician presents the choices that suit your specific space.
Is a compact lift suitable for a five-storey villa?
Yes, the compact lift serves several floors. We check the space and staircase dimensions at the first visit to confirm it suits your villa's height.
Will installation disturb living in the villa?
Installation in an existing corner or stairwell requires no major demolition or extension. We work in organised phases and schedule in advance to minimise disruption.
