Who needs a compact lift?
- 1
A villa with limited floor-to-floor space
Some villas have no dedicated shaft, and a compact lift takes the stairwell or an unused corner without touching the rest of the home's layout.
- 2
A family member who uses a wheelchair
The cabin can be sized to allow a wheelchair to enter and turn inside it, and the right dimensions are set after a precise survey of the space.
- 3
An existing home being retrofitted with a lift
Fitting a lift into a built home means working within what exists without knocking down walls or redesigning, which is exactly what a compact lift is built for.
Choose what fits your need

We design the lift around the available space during construction so no structural changes are needed later.

What sets this area apart
Al Hazm villas are typically designed for efficiency with limited stairwells and floor space, making full-size lifts impractical. A compact unit fits one or two people or a wheelchair into that same footprint and suits the district's modern architecture. New villas here often span multiple floors and remain adaptable during construction, so the compact lift can be installed early in the project.
Al Hazm is a west Riyadh district marked by modern, densely planned villas and contemporary residential blocks.
Most new villas in Al Hazm leave limited space for a stairwell or corner, favouring compact lifts over full-size alternatives.

Questions about Compact lifts
Can a compact lift fit a wheelchair?
It depends on the dimensions available at your site. Some locations allow a cabin big enough for a wheelchair to enter and turn, others allow straight-in access without turning. The site survey is what determines exactly what is possible.
Do I need a pit dug beneath the lift?
Many compact lift installations need a shallow pit, but some configurations work without a full pit. What suits your home is determined after the site survey and assessment of the floor structure and number of levels.
Can it be fitted in a home that was not designed for a lift?
Yes, and this is the most common use for compact lifts. We study the existing structure and find the best location with the least alteration to the building, and every site is different from the next.
Where does Lift Barq operate?
We cover every district of Riyadh and also Al Muzahimiyah, Al Kharj, Ar Rayn and Huraymila. If you are in any of these areas, contact us and we will book a site visit at the earliest available time.
Can the cabin and doors be customised to match the home's interior?
Yes, there are options for cabin finish, interior wall colours and door design. What is available depends on the dimensions confirmed during the site survey, after which the technician presents the choices that suit your specific space.
Will a compact lift suit our narrow-plan villa?
Yes, the compact design fits into any existing stairwell or available corner, even in very tight spaces. Our team visits first and identifies the best option for your home.
Can you install a compact lift in a villa under construction?
Yes, that is actually the easiest scenario. We can prepare the space and electrical connections from the start and install the lift before construction finishes.
