Who needs a freight elevator?
- 1
A multi-floor commercial building
Shops and businesses that move stock or equipment between floors every day need a lift designed for the purpose, not a passenger elevator pressed into freight use.
- 2
A warehouse or store on two or more levels
Warehouses carry heavy loads and run the lift repeatedly; the whole operation depends on quick movement between the receiving level and the storage floor.
- 3
An existing building converted to commercial use
Many commercial buildings have freight elevators added after construction, and getting the specification right depends on the available space, the site layout and the nature of the goods.
Choose what fits your need
Building a commercial property and need freight
We visit during construction and set the cabin, door and machine specification to match your operation and the goods you handle.
WhatsAppYour warehouse lift keeps breaking down
We inspect the existing lift and determine whether maintenance is sufficient or whether it needs replacing with a unit built for repeated heavy-duty cycles.

What sets this area apart
Al Khalidiyah Janoubi combines relatively newer apartment blocks with small commercial activity, where shops may need periodic freight movement and residential buildings sometimes help residents move heavy furniture and luggage. Goods lifts here work less intensively than in warehouses but carry varied loads, sometimes very heavy. We consider installation ease and later maintenance, especially in residential buildings where we carefully coordinate visit times.
Al Khalidiyah Janoubi is located in south Riyadh and is marked by a mix of residential apartment blocks, small shops and offices.
Al Khalidiyah Janoubi apartment blocks are typically medium-rise, and may need goods lifts if they house ground-floor shops or residents need furniture moving assistance.

Questions about Goods & freight elevators
Can a freight elevator be installed in an existing building?
Yes, and many of the projects we carry out are in existing buildings. It depends on the available space and whether a suitable shaft can be formed, which is exactly what the survey visit establishes before any commitment is made.
What is the difference between a freight elevator and a passenger elevator?
A freight elevator is designed for continuous heavy-duty use; its cabin, doors and machine are specified accordingly. Using a passenger elevator for freight damages it, voids the warranty and creates a safety risk.
Do you work outside Riyadh?
Yes, we cover all Riyadh districts as well as Al Muzahimiyah, Al Kharj, Ar Rayn and Huraymila. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, contact us directly.
Does the elevator choice change depending on the type of goods?
Yes, liquid goods, vibration-sensitive items or very heavy loads can each call for different specifications in the cabin, doors and machine, which is why we insist on a site survey before setting any specification.
How is the right cabin size determined for my operation?
It depends on the available shaft dimensions and how goods are loaded, whether on pallets, by hand trolley or as large equipment. No dimensions can be fixed before the survey visit assesses the shaft and the nature of the materials being moved.
Do you install freight lifts in residential apartment blocks?
Yes, we install freight lifts in residential blocks according to resident and shop needs. We agree the best time for installation and later visits together.
What is involved in adding a freight lift to a shop in a residential building?
We visit first to survey the space, doorway and floors, then confirm the specification and requirements before proceeding.
